SUPER⭐ PTA NEWS
What is PTA?
Randall PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization. Parents, families, educators, school staff, and community members unite together to positively impact the lives of our children and families. We are dedicated to supporting our school and community. From fundraising to volunteering, there are many ways you can get involved and make a difference.
What does PTA do?
Organize Educational and Fun Events
Randall PTA organizes fun events and extracurricular programs throughout the school year, like STEAM activities, mini golf outing, Trunk or Treat, movie nights, and sports events. We sponsor and coordinate Teacher Appreciation Week. We also host the school’s annual Play Day; it is a day of free play for the students during the last week of school.
Connect the Community
Families, students, educators and school staff bond by means of service, volunteering, love of learning, and school spirit through the PTA.
Partner with the Family Resource Center
We understand that being a parent can be challenging. This is why Randall PTA partners with Josephine Guerrero Family Resource Center, which offers resources to support parents. Their services include parenting workshops, educational materials, and access to community support. Their office is located at Randall, Portable 3. Call 408-635-2662 ext. 1637 for more info.
Fundraising
Randall PTA fundraises for school projects, such as STEAM activities, classroom supplies, field trips, and 6th grade science camp. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education and we work hard to ensure that our school has the necessary resources to provide just that.
Why join PTA?
You show your children that school matters. By getting involved in your child’s school, you’ll be able to make positive changes and influence your child’s experience.
You partner with the co-principals, teachers, and staff to make the school safe, welcoming, a hub of learning, and a fun place to be.
You share in campus events and experiences that make your child’s school days more memorable.
You connect with other parents. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents, and build rapport. You can share ideas, suggestions, concerns, and experiences.
